The Freight Broker Training 105 includes everything found in the 104 with one huge difference, 12 months working in the TALTOA Logistics Mentorship Program! The TLMP is perfect for those with no experience as they can begin their freight broker operation as a freight broker agent. Once you have completed your training you are able to begin working as a paid commissioned freight broker agent for TALTOA Logistics, LLC.

When registered we will ship your Freight Broker Training Manual. When you have received your Freight Broker Training Manual there will be instructions to contact your assigned consultant to schedule your first training session. Please note that the live portion of your training should be completed in a timely manner. Normally 5-6 weeks. This has proved to be beneficial for client retention of presented material.
As we wish to accommodate you and your schedule, as well as maximize our scheduling for all clients, only one live training session may be scheduled at a time. Normally scheduled at the conclusion of your current session. Although we would like to schedule multiple sessions, over the years we’ve found that life happens and schedules can and do change. We cover the basics and more during your live training. The basics allow you to hit the ground running when you begin your freight broker operation no matter if under your own freight broker authority or as a freight broker agent.
The live training allows you and your consultant to converse, share real life scenarios and how they were handled. You can ask questions and get immediate answers. Our clients have all benefited from the live training as it provides a more personal training experience over the self-study. One obstacle every new freight broker agent must overcome is obtaining that first freight broker agent job. A freight broker agent is a commissioned agent for a licensed freight brokerage. Experienced freight broker agents are in high demand. Experienced freight broker agents that have a customer base can often negotiate a very good contract with the freight broker.
The TALTOA Logistics Mentorship Program (TLMP) allows a new freight broker agent a full year to gain experience and build a customer base. Not to mention get paid a commission for loads successfully moved. After the year, agents may convert to a full agent with TALTOA Logistics, LLC with an automatic increase in their commission.
